All Silvers Series Die Grinders have housings machined from one billet of aircraft quality aluminum for maximum durability. Machined into the outside of the tool are ribs which give the tools a comfortable and stable feel in the hand and the ribs help wick away cold in the winter time. Precision collets and a brass front cover competes the outside of the housing. Internally the tools have cast iron cylinders and end plates as well as a stainless steel front plate motor cover to keep the front plate from having to be replaced after wear occurs in the front bearing. Sealed NSK Japanese bearings.
